Home is where your heart is, Scorpio—and depending on the state of Chateau Scorp, your heart is either full of love and optimism or seething in resentment. On Monday, May 1, transformational Pluto (your cosmic ruler) turns retrograde until October 10, beginning its retreat in Aquarius and your fourth house of home and family until June 11. Your fuse might have gotten a little short of late, and it won’t take much to reach the end of it. Unless you live contentedly alone, bae’s or a roomie’s little quirks may have grown from bothersome to unbearable. Before they send you over the edge, think about how you can broach the subject without starting a full-blown battle. Also have an honest look at your motivation. Are you trying to get back at someone? As a Scorpio, your M.O. can be more stealthy than direct. And with Pluto retrograde, that goes double. On June 11, it will reverse into Capricorn and your communication corner, not straightening out till October 10. If you can’t reach a detente, agree to disagree temporarily and see how you’re feeling in the fall. Eager to dive into a home reno project? Research and PLAN, but ideally hold off until January 20, 2024, when Pluto returns to Aquarius—in forward motion—and revs your engines. Retrogrades rule the past, and in social Aquarius and your house of kith and kin, this one could spark a soulful reunion with relatives or long-lost members of your soul squad.

A murky situation may turn crystal clear on Friday, when a lunar (full moon) eclipse in Scorpio clears the way for YOUR dreams and desires to materialize. Take this as a sign from the universe not to settle for things that look good on paper but give you pause when you deeply consider them. Lunar eclipses often bring revelations, and this one, in your sign, could be wildly illuminating OR disruptive—or both! But if you can stop trying to control the outcome and just flow with it, you may be pleasantly surprised by the calm you’ll feel, which actually comes from being true to yourself. The two weeks that follow this lunation are peak manifesting time, although it can take up to six months for events to completely unfold. But the rest of May is ideal for taking action, whether that involves releasing something or laying the foundation for something new.

Your thoughts may turn in a very different direction on Sunday, when cosmic coquette Venus changes signs, joining fellow lovebird Mars in Cancer and your adventurous ninth house. The red planet will relocate to Leo on May 20, but Venus sticks around until June 5. Whether you’re single, in an LTR or “it’s complicated,” over these next four weeks, you may experience a liberating sense of levity in your interactions. And what a revelation: that you can be in a committed a partnership—and feel free—AND have fun for fun’s sake! If you are unattached, tap the unfettered friskiness of having both love planets in your global zone. Who knows? You may be willing to give VERY different types a shot. And if you like what you discover, maybe you’ll even let them take the lead!
