Christopher Esber's Bridal Capsule With Net-A-Porter Has Me Questioning My Wedding Dress Choice
Now you can channel Zendaya, Emily Ratajkowski and Dua Lipa at this summer's weddings.

I'm getting married in three weeks. The wine has been tasted, the last deposit paid and my dress fitted to perfection. But, Christopher Esber's small but perfectly formed bridal capsule for Net-A-Porter has me second-guessing my wedding dress choice. Help.
The Australian designer, beloved by Zendaya, Dua Lipa and Emily Ratajkowski, has created a capsule made up of three ivory wedding dresses and four wedding guest dresses (or bridesmaids dresses in green, blue and pink). These perfect dresses epitomise the classic yet relaxed kind of nuptials so many of us crave (and by us, I mean me). They are also extremely sexy with sensual cut-outs and draping to die for, but in timelessly elegant cuts.
'When I picture my dream bride, she encapsulates the women who inspire me every day — a woman on her way in modern life, timeless and empowered in her duality,' Christopher Esber told me of his dream bride, 'She is distinguishable and appreciates subtle, exceptional materials and form.'
And this collection is all about subtlety, my favourite dress being the strapless gathered silk maxi dress, and Esber agrees: 'The strapless dress cut from white crepe with ruched waist is timeless, it has a sleek silhouette you can move in but there are hidden, inner workings such as internal boning which adds elevated structure. The design is always in dialogue with the body, so she feels strong and confident.'
As for the non-bridal dresses (though, if you're not set on white, they very well could be), I wish I could go back and place my three bridesmaids in the strapless gathered jersey maxi dress, draped silk-georgette maxi dress and ruched silk-georgette maxi dress, making for that perfect matching-but-you're-not look.
So, while it's too late for me, it might not be for you. Shop away.
