<p>Jubilant prints and vibrant colors form the cornerstones of Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch&#146;s namesake label, launched in 1994. Those themes aside, Herchcovitch changes his look often&mdash;from &#145;50s ladylike one year to brash, Boy George baggy the next. Giant heart and checkerboard prints mingle with subdued shirtdresses in a single collection, and Herchcovitch designs often come with a twist of the avant garde. During the &#145;90s, the designer&#146;s trademark skulls became an icon of Brazilian youth.</p>
